The Aalen School of Applied Photonics (AASAP) recently organized the first AASAP Optics Conference at Aalen University of Applied Sciences. AASAP students, staff and lecturers as well as alumni of the Optical Engineering degree program were present. At the conference, there were talks; lectures by the individual working groups of the Center for Optical Technologies (ZOT) and the LaserApplicationCenter (LAZ) about their current research. The conference concluded with a poster session with posters from doctoral candidates, doctoral students from both research institutes and laboratory tours.
