The university ranking of the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE) compares the study conditions of more than 300 universities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. A survey in 2014 showed that approximately 200,000 students and 15,000 professors participated. They rated: the study conditions in general, the supervision and support from professors and academic staff, the feasibility of studying as well as the international and practical orientation.

Our degree programmes achieved excellent results in CHE University Ranking of the year 2014. We are placed in the absolute top group of the seven best Universities of Applied Sciences in Germany in the field of business administration. Our degree programmes in Engineering Management also achieved impressive results in the last ranking. They are ranked among the Top 20. All ranked degree programmes gained top results in the categories: feasibility of studying, supervision and support from professors and academic staff, IT facilities and library. Compared to the results three years ago, both business studies programmes could improve their category results and thus reach the top group in all categories except for e-learning.

FMBS is thrilled about the excellent results on the CHE University Ranking. In order to consolidate the recognised high level, measures have been launched to optimise the study programmes further. The current results of the CHE University Rankings can be found in the new ZEIT study guide or at the following link
