Are you writing a project or your final thesis and want to ask about literature research, scientific working or Citavi? We are pleased to help you, either personally or by seminars.
You can't find any literature for your project work or you have questions about Citavi? Then you are welcome to book a consulting session via bibliothek@hs-aalen.de, telling us your problem and one or two desired possible dates. Appointments can take place either at the library or online via Zoom. Consultations are available for both individuals and small groups.
At Studium Generale, the library offers various seminars each semester. There are introductory courses for students just completing their first project works, as well as seminars for students writing their final thesis. The seminars include topics about literature research, scientific working and Citavi. Registration is possible at the Career Centre. Each seminar is accompanied by workload hours. Are you a group of students and need information on a specific topic? Get in touch with us. We also offer seminars tailored to you outside of the Studium Generale (for 3 or more people).
The library will be happy to answer questions on the following topics:
- Covering publication costs for open access publications (DEAL contracts, etc.)
- About Open Access publishing via journals or via the in-house repository
- About the ORCID-ID („Author Identifier“)
- About research in the databases Web of Science and Scopus

A 60-minute event begins with an introduction to the building and the library's most important services. This is followed by an introduction to literature research.
