Research Academy

The Research Academy is the central point of contact for the advancement of early-career researchers at Aalen university. It was founded in 2021 as part of the project "WINPROFSHIP“ in the state-union programme "FH-Personal" and is open to everyone interested in pursuing a PhD, doctoral candidates, supervising professors as well as all researchers at the university. The Research Academy builts on the interdisciplinary Graduate School that was organized since the winter term 2016/2017.

With its two sections Doctoral College and Writing Center, the research academy offers a course programme on transferable skills, support in scientific writing, as well as personal counseling, in order to prepare early-career researchers for a career in science, education, or industry. The establishment of advanced offers for doctoral researchers aims at a significant contribution to the assurance of high standards in education and research.
