The 2015 by Prof. Markus Glaser created Center Reliable Mechatronic Systems focuses on the development and verification of systems used in extreme environmental conditions. In these conditions, a high amount of safety, security and reliability is required.

Therefore, about 15 employees and students are working in the systems engineering and component development in research project in the fields: subsea technology, battery technology and medical technology.

Additionally to all tools for systems development and simulations, the centers lab is equipped with test benches for electrical drives, load simulators and real-time systems. Also, systems for analyzing biomechanical parameters like movement profiles und ground reaction forces are in use.

The competences of the centers employees and students of different engineering areas are creating reliable, safe, mechatronics systems on a high technical level.
