Aalen School of Applied Photonics

Our student council stands for a variety of opportunities to enrich the studies and student life for all - Bachelor, Master and PhD students of the Aalen School of Applied Photonics. Above all, we place great emphasis on networking to promote exchange between students and build a strong network that creates the basis for future collaborations and career opportunities.

The exchange of knowledge and experience is another focus of our student council. We support each other by passing on documents, tips and tricks for studying and research. Supporting students in their academic careers is also important to us. Whether it's questions about courses or overcoming challenges during your studies - we are there to help and advise our fellow students.

We advocate for the concerns and interests of photonics students and represent their voice. And finally, the most important thing: We want to enliven student life through regular meetings and events, including pub crawls, game nights or end-of-semester parties, in order to strengthen cohesion and friendships within the department.

The Photonics Student Council is a community that supports and inspires each other.
