Administration FeesDer Semesterbeitrag von insgesamt 149 € setzt sich zusammen aus Verwaltungskostenbeitrag in Höhe von 70 €, Beitrag für das Studierendenwerk Ulm in Höhe von 67 € und Beitrag für die Verfasste Studierendenschaft in Höhe von 12 €. Gegebenenfalls werden für international Studierende oder Zweitstudienbewerber zusätzliche Studiengebühren fällig, siehe auch www.hs-aalen.de/gebuehren.

The Program

Designed to be completed within three semesters. The first two semesters consist of two types of courses: first, required fundamental courses; second, elective courses to reflect specialization, some of which can be chosen from the program itself or any other part of the university.

The language in the lectures and assignments is 50% in English. In the third semester, the thesis is completed under supervision. The thesis can be a theoretical or praxis-oriented one.

Mandatory modules:

  • Research in Business (Quantitative Research in Business) (5 CP)
  • Corporate Finance (5 CP)
  • Corporate Governance (5 CP)
  • Compliance (5 CP)
  • Auditing (5 CP)

Departmental Electives:

  • Group Taxation (5 CP)

University Electives:

  • The difference of the Credit Points (CPs) of mandatory & departmental elective modules to the required 30 CPs per semester must be accomplished by studying other modules from the offered master programs of Aalen University (for any subject it requires an approval of the Examination Committee).

Sum 1st semester: 30 CP

Mandatory modules:

  • Qualitative Research in Business (5 CP)
  • Digitization of Financial Services (5 CP)
  • Emergent Issues in Governance (5 CP)
  • Risk Management & Controlling (5 CP)
  • Transfer Pricing (5 CP)

Departmental Electives:

  • Keystone Project (5 CP)

University Electives:

  • The difference of the Credit Points (CPs) of mandatory & departmental elective modules to the required 30 CPs per semester must be accomplished by studying other modules from the offered master programs of Aalen University (for any subject it requires an approval of the Examination Committee).

Our objective is to develop students’ skill to understand the latest research and insights and to use those tools by applying them to real business problems. To achieve that goal of active learning, we offer our students a small, interactive classroom experience, coupled with a variety of teaching formats, like lectures, group assignments, presentations, individual projects, and research opportunities.
