Denny Schmidt received a grade of 1.2 ("magna cum laude") for his thesis on "Influence of compaction on electrode microstructure and electrochemical performance in lithium-ion cells." "Currently, I'm still a bit at a loss for words ... I can't really realize it yet .... But only the change to Aalen University and especially the colleagues from IMFAA have contributed significantly to the fact that I was allowed to take the last hurdle!", said Dr. Denny Schmidt shortly after his successful defense. He currently works for Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart as a development engineer.
