ZEISS has close and long-standing relations with Aalen University. Students write their theses at ZEISS, do their internships at ZEISS, and therefore learn professional practice in the digital age with ZEISS technology. This year, more than 100 students from Aalen University took the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes and learn first-hand how sustainability and responsibility are anchored in ZEISS Vision Care's strategy and global business.

"At theUniversity, we recently set up the consulting studio with new ZEISS technology", says Prof. Dr. med. Anna Nagl, Dean of Studies M.Sc. Vision Science and Business (Optometry) at Aalen University. "With the ZEISS VISUFIT 1000 centering platform, for example, students can acquire exactly the skills they need in the digital future of optometry in business and consulting customers." The equipment of the consulting studio is a current example of promoting science and education at ZEISS. But of course it was also very interesting to take a look and see how ZEISS strategically defines its commitment to science, environment, society and education.
