As an innovative business and production location, East Wuerttemberg depends on a well-trained workforce. The recruitment of academic specialists and executives from abroad is therefore also an important topic in East Wuerttemberg. In order to bring together foreign high potentials and regional companies, the Welcome Office East Wuerttemberg has set itself the task of supporting companies and other institutions in the recruitment of foreign students and graduates trained by the TIE - Talents International East Wuerttemberg - Consortium of the four state universities in the region (Aalen University, Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Heidenheim, University of Design Schwäbisch Gmünd, University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd) as a part of the project "WISO - Welcome Office for International Students in East Wuerttemberg". This includes the placement of working student activities, internships and theses as well as jobs for career entry. International students and graduates are prepared for their future work in the regional labour market through a broad spectrum of measures. Also we sensitize companies to the existing potential of skilled workers and thus make a contribution to meeting the regional demand for skilled workers.
The project is managed by Aalen University and the Regional Economic Development Corporation Ostwürttemberg (WiRO)
Supported by the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Housing.
