During the week from April 7th to the 11th, 2025, students will be offered many opportunities to experience new cultures and make international contacts. Go-Out Week is a dynamic platform for intercultural and linguistic exchange as well as international networking directly on campus.
Lecturers from partner universities as guests in Aalen
Seven lecturers from our partner universities in Finland, Israel and the Czech Republic are guests. The English-language lectures by international experts offer valuable global perspectives on topics such as technical design, chemistry and ophthalmic optics. Students from all disciplines are invited to find out more about studying and research at our partner universities.
“Go Out & Outgoing” - What does that mean?
Students who spend part of their studies abroad are referred to as outgoings. They can complete an exchange semester at a partner university or an internship abroad. “The outgoings not only gain experience abroad for a career in the global working world, they also contribute to a more international flair on campus after their return,” explains Katrin Zinser from the International Center, who is also the coordinator of the internationalization project INTENSE, which is funded by the BMBF. In addition to the guest lectures, students are offered a varied program, From intercultural training and application training for English-speaking countries to games evenings with international students - the week will offer numerous opportunities to experience new cultures, improve language skills and make new contacts. Students will give authentic accounts of their experiences at partner universities and the Buddy Program will be presented in a playful way. The LEGO® Serious Play® workshops shed light on language learning and international projects in a creative and interactive way and promote both creative thinking and cooperation in intercultural teams. The advisors from the International Office are always on hand to provide students with help and advice and support them in planning international career paths during their studies.
