News for the 2025 summer semester
The library is starting the new semester with a new team of dedicated assistants. As usual, the student assistants will support the permanent staff by covering the morning and evening shifts. This means that the library will continue to be open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition, the Teaching Library Team has developed a new format that is offered through the Studium Generale: “Bib in Bites.” These lunchtime sessions are perfect for anyone who wants a short and concise introduction to the library's basic services. Whether it's research techniques, digital resources, or how to use our facilities, “Bib in Bites” offers valuable information in small, easily digestible bites.
The library as a place of learning is also being upgraded—thanks to the support of the building management, the library is getting a water dispenser. This should be completed shortly, fulfilling an urgent request from students. This offer will benefit learners, especially at the beginning of the “hot” semester.
We cordially invite you to experience the new offers and improvements in our library.
