Opening hours over the New Year period and beyond.
The library will be closed from December 23, 2024, through January 6, 2025. During this time, the book return box in front of the library will also be closed. Since the entire university will be closed during this period, the book return machines in the main building (Beethovenstraße) and in the WIN will also be unavailable. However, you will still have access to the library's digital holdings (e-books, database content) as usual during this time.
At the end of the winter semester, the library would like to support students who wish to study in the library. For this reason, extended opening hours will also be offered this semester under the motto “Half full? Half empty? No matter, time for more”:
Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–8 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
These opening hours will apply until the end of the exam period, i.e. including February 22, 2025.
