Vision Science and Business (Optometry) starts on Friday, August 16, 2024, with the world-famous and renowned professors from the College of Optometry at Pacific University Denise Goodwin (Anatomy) and Lorne Yudcovitch (Ocular Diseases) as well as our great lab team Katja Schiborr, Oliver Buck and Georg Scheuerer into the new academic year. After months of intensive coordination by the Dean of Studies, Prof. Dr. Anna Nagl, together with the globally experienced Prof. Dr. Willard Bleything, the skills and examinations taught in the lectures and laboratories will now be even more precisely aligned with the European Diploma Optometry (EDO). This makes the Aalen part-time master's degree program M.Sc. Vision Science and Business (Optometry) perfect for further training to become an optometrist at the top level, especially for optometrists from Switzerland and Italy as well as from Slovenia and Croatia and of course also from Germany and Austria. The Aalen part-time master's degree program also enjoys a great reputation outside of Europe, one student each from Nepal, India, Pakistan and the Philippines has registered for 2024.
