Japanese Foundry Association Visits the University
Prof. Dr. Lothar Kallien with the delegation from the Japanese Foundry Association in the university’s foundry
As a part of Euroguss in Nuremberg, 32 die casters from a Japanese Foundry Association visited the university to learn more about developments with salt cores and gas injection. The production of thermally conditioned housing for electro-mobility was something they found particularly interesting. With gas injection, Aalen is developing a process by which it is possible to build cooling ducts without cores.
