At the end of the 66th meeting of Nobel Prize winners, which took place in Lindau, 29 Nobel Prize winners and about 400 international junior scientists took part in a boat trip on the Lake of Constance, from Lindau to Mainau Island and back. On board the “MS Sonnenkoenigin“ the Center for Optical Technologies (COT) of Aalen University was able to present their latest research results in the field of additive manufactured optics for optical illumination and sensor systems. The Lindau Nobel Prize meetings are annual scientific conferences that have taken place in Lindau since 1951. The aim is to bring Nobel Prize winners and young scientists together to promote academic exchange across generations and cultures. The program includes numerous lectures, discussions, master classes, panel discussions, and various networking and social events. The focus is on the exchange of ideas and the discussion of various issues that have global relevance for all scientists. This year's event was dedicated to physics.
