• Commercial, profitable, Company Leadership / Management - interest in key changes in the global economy in the context of Carbon Management as well as in internal and external Sustainability Management processes in relation to e.g. Marketing, Logistics, Financing, and Risk Management
• Desire for practical work and innovative scientific questions - projects and practical collaborations are an important part of the curriculum.
• Communication and team skills & analytical thinking - frequent group work, part of economic negotiation processes and strategy development.
• 1. science and scholarshop (allg.) methodological knowledge & research - qualitative and quantitative research methods for current problems.
  

• University entrance qualification: General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification or university of applied sciences entrance qualification.
• NC-free - there is no minimum grade of admission (NC)
• None pre-degree practical experience necessary
• Language skills: As the degree programme is offered in German, good German language skills are required (usually at level C1 or proof in the context of examinations such as DSH or TestDaF).

Application deadlines: It is possible to apply for the summer and winter semester via the university website.

After successfully completing the programme, a wide range of career paths open up in the sustainability departments of companies, in management consultancies and in non-profit organisations. Strategic and operational management and leadership tasks include, in particular, activities in one of the following areas of business:

• Sustainability management
• Sustainability controlling
• Sustainable supply chain management and
• Consulting.

In addition, the degree qualifies graduates for admission to doctoral programmes.

Yes. During the course of study, two elective modules can be chosen – one per semester. The modules can be chosen from the elective options offered by the programme or, with approval, from the business administration master's programme offered by the university.

Yes, a semester abroad is suitable in the 2nd semester of the Master's program and is expressly supported by the institution of higher education. It can be integrated into the Studies program without necessarily renewing the duration / length of studies. There are basically three options for studying abroad:

1. at a partner university of the Field of Study:

• Studies at the Vaal University of Technology, South Africa
• Studies at the Central University of Technology Bloemfontein,
  South Africa
• Studies at the CDHAW - Tongji University, Shanghai
• Studies at Edutus University Tatabanya, Hungary

2. at a partner university of Aalen University of Applied Sciences,
3. at a freely electedinstitution of higher education abroad.

The starting point for studying abroad is always an advisor from the International Representative and/or the International Center.
