Arailym Wödl, founder of the KAWA Café in Schwäbisch Gmünd, took the courageous step into self-employment together with her husband in April 2025 - alongside her regular job as a project manager. At KAWA Café, they combine their passion for hospitality and Ukrainian culture.
In a cozy atmosphere, Arailym talks about her path to starting her own business, the challenges of the dual role between career and entrepreneurship, and balancing family and job. At the same time, she provides insights into the values and convictions that led her and her husband to the KAWA Café.
With the KAWA Café, Arailym and her husband want to create a place where Ukrainian families - and of course all other guests - can feel welcome and a little bit at home. A space that facilitates encounters and promotes community.
We look forward to an enriching exchange, new ideas and an enjoyable time at the KAWA Café!
