At the start of your studies, you choose a focus on development or production. The specializations only differ in the 6 technical modules. The management modules and the rest of the Studies are identical for both specializations.
6 modules - Technical:
- Technical modules in the Development specialization: FEM, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Acoustics, Physical Modelling, Vehicle Dynamics or Structural Mechanics.
- Technical modules with a focus on production: cast materials and lightweight construction with simulation, laser application technology, resource-efficient machining technology, robotics, free form fabrication technologies or simulation of forming processes
- Up to 3 of the 6 modules can be exchanged for lectures from the University of Applied Sciences' Technology Master's program.
5 modules - Management:
- Economic & analytical foundations of management, corporate management, product management and innovation management, quality management or production management
- Up to 3 of the 5 modules can be exchanged for lectures from the University of Applied Sciences' Management Master's program.
1 module - Scientific project:
In the scientific project (5 CP) you can work on almost any task during your Studies. You can carry out the project in one of the University of Applied Sciences' numerous laboratories or at an industrial company. All you need is a supervising professor from Aalen University of Applied Sciences. You don't want to carry out a project? No problem! The module can also be exchanged for a lecture from the University of Applied Sciences' Management or Technology Master's program.
