To ensure that the diverse activities of the AI Workshop for SMEs are efficiently integrated, a five-member management team is responsible for the strategic, organizational, and technical coordination of the project.
Overall project leadership rests with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Heinz-Peter Bürkle, Vice Rector for Digitalization at Aalen University of Applied Sciences. He represents the KI-Werkstatt Mittelstand to the Rector’s Office and is responsible for the project’s overarching direction. Uwe Andreas Hermann is responsible for strategic development and business development.
Katharina Lechner is responsible for coordinating the research projects. She ensures organizational coordination and oversees the implementation of the individual projects. Lena Fuchs is the project manager for the mobile “AI Experience” exhibition and the primary point of contact for all questions regarding the exhibition. As system administrator, Oday Al-Hyali is responsible for the AI-Werkstatt’s technical infrastructure and ensures the reliable operation of the NVIDIA server for project development.
