3) At least one research topic ‐ maximum 2 research topics in PDF format according to the announcement of the degree program. The application for a study place
with the preferred research topic / research topics can only be made using 1‐2 of these PDFs listed here.
The selected research topic/PDF must be uploaded with the application documents.
4) A meaningful letter of motivation with reference to the selected topic(s) in the context of your own person (maximum two pages DIN A4) in German or English
Recommended structure of the letter of motivation:
‐ Brief introduction of the person and previous career (approx. 0.3 p.)
‐ Key areas of study that provide a basis for the chosen research topic(s) (approx. 0.3 p.)
‐ Motivation for studying AMM at Aalen University (approx. 0.3‐0.5 p.)
‐ Motivation for the chosen research topic(s) (approx. 0.3‐0.5 p.)
‐ Brief outlook/perspective on what you are aiming for after the AMM Master's program.
5) A tabular curriculum vitae with current contact details (maximum two pages DIN A4)
6) Proof of English language qualification at English B2 level.
Only the following are recognized:
1. German university entrance qualification stating the language level achieved,
2. TOEIC (L&R) with a minimum score of 785,
3. TOEFL (iBT) with a minimum score of 72,
4. TOEFL (ITP) with a minimum score of 543,
5. Cambridge First with at least Grade B,
6. Cambridge CAE or CPE with at least Grade C,
7. IELTS with a minimum score of 6.0,
8. PTC Academic B2 with a minimum score of 65 or
9. UNIcert II certificate with a minimum grade of 2.3.
7) Copy of the ID document
Documents 1 ‐ 7 must be submitted. Only complete application documents can be processed.

9) If available, proof of special achievements, qualifications or knowledge that go beyond the normal university degree, which were achieved or acquired after the Bachelor's degree.
