Startup Date is back, and we’re super excited about our next special guest: On July 9, we’ll be welcoming Micha Fritz, co-founder of Viva con Agua and one of Germany’s best-known social entrepreneurs.
What began in 2006 as an idea centered around FC St. Pauli is now a movement that connects people all over the world. Through Viva con Agua, Micha works alongside thousands of supporters to improve access to clean drinking water for everyone—and in doing so, demonstrates that social change can also be shaped creatively, positively, and with great joy.
In Startup Date, Micha talks about the beginnings of Viva con Agua, about crazy ideas, bold decisions, and how a labor of love turned into an international movement. It’s about entrepreneurship, social responsibility, and the question of how to inspire people with a shared vision. Of course, it’s also about challenges, setbacks, and the many stories you only experience when you just get started.
Micha offers fascinating insights into nearly 20 years of Viva con Agua and explains why networks, trust, and a clear purpose are often more important than perfect plans. And why it’s worth thinking big while still staying human.
At Startup Date, you’ll have the opportunity to experience Micha Fritz live—authentic, inspiring, and with plenty of real-life stories. As always, after the interview, there will be a chance to ask questions and chat directly with Micha.
The event will take place online on Thursday, July 9, at 5 p.m.
You can get free tickets via the registration link.
Take this chance to meet one of Germany’s most exciting founders—and let yourself be inspired by a story that shows that with a good idea, the right people, and a lot of passion, you can really make a difference.
