Engineering lecture series. For a world worth living in.

We are currently experiencing a rapid development of physical AI. This refers to the functional integration of AI methods in physical applications, e.g. medical technology products. How will this change the robotics and medical technology of tomorrow? The talk; lecture will highlight current research approaches that show how AI-supported algorithms, adaptive assistance systems, precise sensor technology and digital image processing can work better together to reliably design medical processes. The opportunities opening up for Diagnostics and therapy will also be demonstrated. The focus will be on technological innovations from the ZEISS Meditec environment. The talk; lecture will show how these developments not only change clinical practice; but also give rise to new scientific questions.

Lecturer: Dr. Stefan Saur, Head of AI & Digital Twin, Matthias Hillenbrand, Head of Smart Instruments & Robotics, Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, Oberkochen
