On Saturday, June 13, 2026, Aalen University of Applied Sciences invites you to the so-called OPEN CAMPUS DAY, which takes place every year in early summer. You can expect "hands-on and hands-on optics" and interesting discussions with students, staff and professors. Come along and find out why the Bachelor's program in Ophthalmic Optics/Optometry at Aalen University of Applied Sciences is also (but of course not only) the first address for successors of ophthalmic optics companies, because we already have many years of experience and invest a lot of time in the Studies of Ophthalmic Optics/Optometry with practically experienced opticians, even for students without previous vocational training. Furthermore, as part of their studies, our bachelor's students in optometry/optometry acquire Equal Opportunities for both Part III (business management skills) and Part IV (trainer aptitude AEVO) of the master craftsman's examination at no additional cost. And thanks to our many partner universities worldwide, the institution of higher education also offers the opportunity to complete part of the practical semester in a school, practical semester abroad as well as to complete the 6th study semester "International Optometry" in English at a highly-respected, prestigious college of optometry, e.g. in Australia, Canada, the USA, or also in Finland and Spain, and to have this study semester abroad fully recognized here in Germany with 30 credit points in the Bachelor's degree.
