Excel is a comprehensive computer software for analyzing and visualizing data that has become an indispensable part of everyday office life. This course is suitable for users who want to build on their existing basic knowledge of Excel.
In the first part of the course, the basics of the Excel calculation program are repeated in order to pick up users with less prior knowledge. The second part then focuses on advanced functions, creating charts and ways to quickly analyze data. In this context, participants are also taught how to work with pivot tables and how to use statistics functions. All of the contents covered will be explained using application examples and practical classes.
Contents:
- Repetition of various Excel basics (relative and absolute cell references, simple functions, some basic concepts of the application)
- (Financial) mathematics, statistics, logical and referencing functions
- Creating and editing diagrams
- Data analysis with pivot tables
- Keyboard shortcuts / tips & tricks for working efficiently with Excel
Prerequisites:
Participation in the course is possible with a laptop/PC that consists of Excel 2016 or newer and ideally a Windows operating system (none Mac!). An additional monitor is highly recommended, but not mandatory. Please only use home equipment (none company laptops) for the course.
Participants should consist of; have basic knowledge of Excel (2016 or newer).
