An evening full of projects, encounters and real exchange:
At Illuminate & Connect, students present their work from the Bachelor User Experience, Bachelor Information Design and Master Human-Centered Design study programs.
The event will take place on 16.04.2026 in the Digital Innovation Space (DIS), Anton-Huber-Straße 4, in room 0.01 on the first floor. Arrival is possible from 17:30, the official start is at 18:00.
Illuminate & Connect is a completely student-led evening.
The character of the event is clear: by students for students - and at the same time open to all interested parties.
The focus is on an approachable exchange, honest insights into projects and the opportunity to talk to each other in an uncomplicated way. It is precisely this open, student atmosphere that makes the evening so special.
In addition to students, we therefore also welcome lecturers, alumni and company representatives who would like to get to know the projects and make contact with the exhibitors.
Course of the evening
The evening begins with an approximately two-hour stage presentation in which selected projects are presented.
The event then moves on to the Connect part: Then further works can be discovered freely in the room.
This also includes haptic products and examination services that were not presented digitally on stage. These will be presented in a tangible way on site and invite visitors to join in, try them out and ask questions.
The respective students are also on site and can explain their work in person.

Food and drink will also be provided: there will be waffles and drinks of all kinds.
We kindly ask you to bring some change. There will also be an after-party at Ernas afterwards.
