Acquire social and intercultural competencies during your Studies: Immerse yourself in the culture and mentality of another country, get to know new ways of learning and working and broaden your own horizons during your Studies or internship, work placement. But how do I plan and realize a study abroad stay? What opportunities does Aalen University of Applied Sciences offer? Which partner universities are suitable for me? How do I find suitable companies abroad? How can I finance a semester abroad? Who can I contact if I have questions? The International Relations Office will answer these and many other questions and support you in planning your individual semester abroad. This International Center event is part of the "Global Competences Program".

Note on participation in the hybrid talk; lecture:
Students who participate in the event (general) online are required to submit a participation report of at least 1,500 characters within 14 days after the talk; lecture. The report serves as proof of active engagement with the lecture content and is a prerequisite for crediting the corresponding workload.
The participation report must be submitted exclusively by e-mail to SG-Onlineveranstaltungen[at]hs-aalen.de and via the personal institution of Applied Sciences e-mail address (studmail address). The following information must be provided in full:
- First name and surname
- Student ID number
- degree programme
The deadline of 14 days is a binding cut-off-date. Reports received after this deadline can no longer be considered. In this case, there is no entitlement to recognition of the talk; lecture.
Students who attend the event (general) in person are exempt from the obligation to submit a participation report. In this case, attendance is recorded as attendance.
