Deutschlandstipendium (national scholarship programme)

• Application is possible annually during the published application period for funding from the following winter semester.
• Application is made online using the form provided. Please fill it out and send it together with the required, necessary file attachments. The link to the online application tool will be activated at the start of the application period.

Please have your user name (Student ID number) and password ready to log in to the online application.
Notes for new students, beginners: The access data was sent to you with your admission ("User account for the use of IT services"). If you have not yet received a user account, please send your application documents (documents from the list below) by e-mail to deutschlandstipendium[at]hs-aalen.de

Please note: Incomplete applications or applications not received by the given deadline(s) will not be considered!

Applicants must primarily provide evidence of above-average school and coursework grades. In addition to these assignments, credit performance, the following criteria are also taken into account in the individual overall assessment:

1. special achievements, awards and prizes, as well as previous professional activity and completed internships, work placement, practicum;
2. extracurricular and extracurricular activities (e.g. on a voluntary basis);
3. Special personal or family circumstances (e.g. non-academic parents, disabilities)

Please submit the following supporting documents in digital form:

1. Letter of motivation of no more than 2 pages outlining your interest in the field of study, your further plans for your studies and subsequent career; if applicable, please also describe any special achievements, special commitment and special personal and family circumstances here;
2. Curriculum vitae in tabular form
3. Certificates; degrees of university entrance qualification; in the case of foreigners, a translation into the German system and conversion into the German grading system;
4. Protective measures in the context of Mutterschutz, if available; (general), non-graded assessment ( SPO) - (assessment graded with pass or fail- as opposed to graded assessment);
5. for applicants for a Master's place, the diploma for a first university degree qualifying to enter a profession as well as further credit records; accordingly to the admission and selection regulations for the Master's programme;
6. a recommendation from the Dean of Studies, Studies Dean, if available;
7. Credentials in the context of a special qualification that entitles the applicant to study in the respective degree program at Aalen University of Applied Sciences, if available;
8. Internship, work placement and employment references(s) as well as proof of special awards and prizes, other knowledge and other commitments, if available;

If the application documents are not written in German or English, a notarized translation in German must be enclosed.
