The Staff Council

We represent the interests of all employees at Aalen University of Applied Sciences vis-à-vis the university administration.

In doing so, we work closely with the representative body for employees with severe disabilities and the Verdi and GEW unions. We are also part of several working groups that connect us with other staff councils throughout Baden-Württemberg. Our work is governed by the Baden-Württemberg State Staff Representation Act (LPVG-BW).

Our most important responsibilities include

monitoring compliance with laws, regulations, collective bargaining agreements, service agreements, and administrative orders that benefit employees,
reviewing suggestions and complaints from employees, and
participating in various committees, such as the Occupational Safety Committee
