Your roadmap to the master's degree

Highlights of the study program

Studies possible full-time or part-time

Our master’s program is designed to adapt flexibly to your individual life and career situation and can be studied either full-time or part-time. Depending on when you start your master’s thesis, full-time studies allow you to complete your degree in two to three semesters. With a standard duration of four semesters, the part-time option offers optimal conditions for employment alongside your studies in a company or research institution.

The part-time option is also of interest to those who wish to pursue part-time employment at a higher education institution – be it as an academic staff member of the faculty or as a project staff member in an externally funded project. Accordingly, lectures are offered in block courses. You can decide at the beginning of the first semester whether you would like to complete your studies full-time or part-time.

Admission equirements

To study a master's degree program at Aalen University, you need a first professionally qualifying university degree or an equivalent qualification.
