What makes this degree programme special

Focus on human-centered design

Studies will teach you to consistently develop products, services and digital systems from the perspective of people. You will research needs, analyze usage contexts and design solutions that are intuitive, meaningful and sustainable.

Blended learning - flexible study

The degree programme is consistently organized in a blended learning format. Face-to-face classes, online teaching and self-directed learning phases are combined. This allows you to study flexibly and work intensively with lecturers and fellow students at the same time.

Practice-orientated, with vocational-technical orientation

Ideas do not remain theoretical. You develop prototypes, test them with users and improve them iteratively. In this way, you will learn to make well-founded design decisions and implement innovations in a user-centered way.

Working in interdisciplinary and hybrid teams

You will work in projects with various disciplines - from design to computer science to management. You will learn how to communicate, moderate and tax projects effectively, even in hybrid working environments.

Benjamin Pipus

UX Designer at EnBW Energy Baden-Württemberg AG

In addition to the focus on design, this Master's program also teaches leadership skills, which is extremely important, as designers are not responsible, not at fault outside (the student's) control, in most companies and their expertise is therefore lacking.

Diane Fuentes

User Experience Professional at the Aalen University of Applied Sciences

This masters/master's programme liaises with a great toolbox of model-based methods for the design, draft of Mechatronic Systems. The theoretical and practical components train the ability to analyze complex relationships and find systematic solutions.
