Management

Rectorate

The Rectorate is responsible for all tasks that are not expressly assigned to another council or board.

University Board

In accordance with the State Higher Education Act (LHG), the University Board is responsible for the strategic development of the institution of higher education.

Senate

The Senate deals with fundamental matters in the fields of teaching, Studies & Further Education, research and artistic practice; practical experience and corresponding development projects. This results, among other things, from the provisions of the Higher Education Act.

Boards

AStA - Students' Union Council (VS)

The AStA is the executive body of the constituted student body at the HSAA and represents the interests of the students vis-à-vis the Rectorate and boards.

VS - constituted student body

The VS is the lawful staff and student representation of all students at the HSAA and organizes their participation in university boards.

Staff Council

The staff council represents the interests of staff at the HSAA and exercises the participation rights provided for by law.

Representative for Employees with a Disability (SBV)

The Representative for Employees with a Disability (SBV) assumes various tasks and powers at the HSAA in order to support the interests of severely disabled people, protect their Laws and strengthen their participation.
