"Makers of Tomorrow" is an online course for students at German-speaking institutions of higher education on the topic of entrepreneurship. However, this is no ordinary course, but a real "masters class" in which students can learn from non-examination-based activities you have undertaken in preparation for higher education.

In the first season, we tell 10 inspiring founder stories. In it, entrepreneurs from Germany and Silicon Valley talk about their personal experiences, their successes, but just as honestly about their failures and mistakes. And they give practical tips for the first steps of a start-up.

It provides companies with information on design issues relating to product and graphic design. EXIST start-up grants are intended to support entrepreneurs at institutions of higher education and research institutions in the phase before and at the beginning of their innovative business start-up, in particular in the preparation of a viable business plan, the development of marketable products and innovative services.

Funding in the EXIST start-up grant is open to all topics and technologies. The EXIST start-up grant is intended to help support innovative and sustainable start-ups with high market relevance and implementation dynamics, whose start-up idea originated in the environment of the institution of higher education or research institution and in which, in particular, the field-specific, subject-area specific, subject-specific knowledge acquired there as well as any research and development work carried out have been incorporated.

The start-up teams receive an EXIST start-up grant at attractive conditions for a period of 12 months to draw up a business plan and prepare for their business start-up with the support of their institution of higher education or research institution.

EXIST Transfer of Research is intended to support entrepreneurs at institutions of higher education and research institutions in the preparation and implementation of technically particularly risky and complex development work, the results of which form the basis for a commercially, economically, profitable, financially, cost-effective business start-up.

The "Young Innovators" funding programme supports young academic staff members from institutions of higher education, non-university research institutions and academies in becoming self-employed with the production and sales of innovative products or business models.

Eligible for funding are preparations for business start-ups involving products, processes, procedures or services based on inventions made by start-ups, software developed by them or their technological know-how.

The program aims to create an alternative to dependent employment and at the same time to fund the knowledge and technology transfer from the institutions of higher education to the economy, business.
