Located in the east of Baden-Württemberg, Aalen University of Applied Sciences consists of five faculties and offers 60 diverse and forward-looking degree programs. Over 4,000 students and 716 employees, including 146 professors, fill our three campuses Beethovenstraße, Burren and Waldcampus with life. We occupy top positions in research and teaching in the state and throughout Germany. We are also an important institution for promoting STEM subjects and start-ups in East Württemberg.
With an excellent international network and regional roots, our students benefit from a wide range of opportunities. Teaching takes place not only in the lecture hall, but also in modern laboratories, workshops and application-oriented projects. We conduct research at the highest level on practical issues that advance the economy and society. We work well together within the university, whether in our studies, research or day-to-day work. We are characterized by a strong alliance with the numerous "hidden champions" and global companies based in our region. Thanks to the close exchange with industry, but also with the institutions and shapers of the region, we have become a center of knowledge transfer, innovation and further development as well as an integral part of the educational landscape of East Württemberg.
