It is important for both business practice and teaching!
Good research is helpful for companies, as it enables them to recognize which methods or concepts really help and which are just management fads. Especially in Business Administration and business practice, many suggestions are communicated without being tested.
Good research also helps teaching and students by introducing empirically confirmed curricular content and introducing students to a critical, fact-oriented way of thinking! The latter also serves to develop the ability to make judgments and independent thinking.
