Sustainability through (alternative) polymer and fiber composites - material development and recycling strategies


The careful use of natural resources is a central social challenge of our time and is the focus of the applicant's research activities. Prof. Taha's research vision includes the development of new materials that flow in one of two cycles as part of a circular economy (see figure): In the biological cycle (green), raw material resources are returned to nature; in the technical cycle (orange), they linger endlessly as a product, module or material.
