Prof. Dr. Doris Aschenbrenner

Prof. Dr. Doris Aschenbrenner is CZ:Professor of "Digital Methods in Production" at Aalen University of Applied Sciences. Her research focus is on controllable autonomous systems ("Human in Command") in Industry 4.0 and the role of humans, the "Operator 4.0" in the digitalized factory. She received her Diplom (German university degree) in computer science and her doctorate from the University of Würzburg. She was then a postdoc and tenure track Professors / Professor of the academic staff at TU Delft in the field (of) "Human Robot Coproduction" at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering.

In addition to her work in Aalen, she has co-founded a company and is active on numerous boards, including being a member and topic mentor in the expert dialog within the framework of the "AI Observatory" of the BMAS and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Department of Enterprise Cybernetics at RWTH Aachen University.
