After completing his course of studies, jurisprudence in Bonn, Lausanne (CH) and Munich, Prof. Ladurner passed the First State Examination in Law in Munich in 1998. He completed his legal training at the Regional Court and the Ingolstadt Public Prosecutor's Office, in the Planning Department of the City of Munich and in the Human Resources Department of German Lufthansa AG. After passing his second state law examination - also in Munich - in 2000, he worked as an academic staff member at the Department, Institute for Copyright and Media Law, Munich, and obtained his doctorate (Dr. iur.) in a constitutional law subject (Dr. allgem.). in a constitutional law topic (doctoral supervisor: Prof. Dr. C. Degenhart, University of Leipzig, summa cum laude).
Prof. Ladurner was admitted to the bar in 2001. Prof. Ladurner then worked for the Max Planck Society (MPG), most recently as Personal Speaker to the Secretary General of the MPG. From 2007, Prof. Ladurner devoted himself to health law as a lawyer in an international commercial law firm. His legal advisory service, guidance, advice included all regulatory issues in the healthcare sector, in particular in connection with international M&A projects. A special field of his legal work was also the legal supervision, counselling, support, mentoring of international courses of studies, academic programmes. After an interim position as chairperson of the board of a foundation for the funding of medical research and vocational training with its central administration; main campus in Munich, Prof. Ladurner accepted a position at the institution of higher education in 2012.
Prof. Ladurner is Dean of Studies, Studies Dean of the Field of Study Health Care Management, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Sciences and an elected member of the Senate of the institution of higher education.
Prof. Ladurner is a deputy, impartial member of the Federal Arbitration Board for Contract Dental Care in accordance with Section 89 (2) SGB V.
Prof. Ladurner is a member of several legal societies and the sole author of a standard commentary on medical licensing law.
