Scopus AI: AI-supported literature research for all university members

With Scopus AI, the library is supporting Aalen University of Applied Sciences in giving all members of the university the opportunity to get to know AI technologies and explore their potential and limitations. While conventional language models such as ChatGPT often provide unverified data, a lack of transparency or incorrect results, Scopus AI offers a reliable alternative.

Scopus AI offers the following features:

  • Natural language search: easy input of research questions in everyday language.
  • Quality-assured contents: Answers are based on high-quality, citable publications from the multidisciplinary Scopus database, databank
  • Visual presentation: Results are clearly presented in a concept map.
  • In-depth questions: Automatic suggestions for "Go Deeper" questions for further research.
  • Expert networking: Links to leading researchers on the elected topic
     

Scopus AI is particularly suitable for getting started with research or developing a research question. You can find the AI tool in the "Scopus AI" tab of the multidisciplinary database, Scopus, which is accessible via DBIS. Further information on Scopus AI can be found on the Elsevier website.
