Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is a program from Microsoft that provides students ... with Microsoft software design, Microsoft developer tools, cloud computing access and learning resources.
It was formerly known as Microsoft Imagine, DreamSpark and MSDN-AA.
How it works
Due to preparatory work for a new Office 365 structure, you cannot currently generate the account yourself. If you would like to use Azure Dev Tools for Teaching, please send an e-mail, email accordingly to its.ms-devtools[at]hs-aalen.de
Important:
Subject: Azure Dev Tools for Teaching account
The sender address of your e-mail, email must be the address of the institution of higher education. Other addresses will not be accepted and will not be answered.
You will receive an e-mail, email with your access data after Institution of the account (may take some time).
This is a temporary solution and we will provide a self-service portal as soon as possible.
Notes and terms of use
Microsoft Azure Dev Tools is only available to students and lecturers of the following institutions:
- Faculty of Chemistry
- Faculty of Electronics and Computer Science
- Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science
- Faculty of Optics and Mechatronics
- Faculty of Management and Business Science
We hereby expressly point out that by registering on the Microsoft website or the corresponding webshop for software download, you accept the rules and license conditions of Microsoft.
Excerpt from the terms of use:
- The software may only be used within the framework of research and teaching.
- Commercial use is excluded.
- Explicitly excluded from use are administrative facilities, secretary's offices and laboratories / labs that are not used for vocational training.
- The software may not be passed on to third parties.
- The software may continue to be used - but without authorisation, eligibility, entitlement to update:
- after termination of the employment relationship
- after completion of Studies
