Ball sports

Badminton is a ball sport that is played with a shuttlecock and one badminton racket per person. The players try to hit the ball over a net in such a way that the other side cannot hit it back accordingly.

Basketball is a dynamic team sport with the aim of throwing the ball into the opponent's basket. Players dribble, pass and defend to score points and prevent the opponent from scoring. Basketball is both a demanding physical challenge and an intense strategic game that promotes team spirit.

Soccer is a ball sport in which two teams of eleven players (one goalkeeper and ten outfield players) compete against each other. The aim is to get the ball into the opponent's goal.

Padel tennis is a dynamic mixture of tennis and squash, played in doubles. It is played on a smaller court with glass walls that are actively involved in the game. The rules are easy to learn, making the sport ideal for beginners - but it also offers plenty of fun and tactical depth for advanced players. Perfect for anyone who likes movement, team spirit and fast rallies.

Squash is an intense backhand sport that is played in a hall with four walls. Two players take it in turns to hit a small rubber ball against the front wall and try to put their opponent under pressure with precise strokes and quick changes of direction. Squash promotes stamina, speed and concentration - ideal for anyone who wants to work out and improve their reaction times at the same time.

Table tennis is a sport with balls. It can be played in singles, where one player competes against another, or in doubles, where two play against two. You need a table tennis table to play.

Tennis is a classic backstroke sport that is both technically and tactically demanding. It is played in singles or doubles on a rectangular court with a net, the aim being to place the ball in such a way that the opponent can no longer return it according to the rules. Tennis improves coordination, stamina and game intelligence - perfect for anyone who wants to combine sport, strategy and precision.

Volleyball is a ball game that is both a team sport and a return game. Two teams of six players each dig, hit or smash the ball "volley" over a net in the middle of the court. The aim is to get the ball onto the ground in the opponent's court and score points.

Dodgeball is an exciting team game in which players try to eliminate opposing players by throwing balls at each other. It requires skill, speed and teamwork and promotes fair play and social bonding.

Skittles is a precision sport in which a player starts a ball rolling from one end of a smooth lane (skittle alley) with a controlled swing in order to knock down the nine pins set up at the other end of the lane.

Institution of higher education chess club: For all those who have mastered the royal game and are looking for playing partners at all levels (from beginners to team players). Departments to improve playing strength in the field (of) opening/middle game/endgame and also blitz/quick chess tournaments are offered on request. The event (general) is organized in collaboration, cooperation with the Unterkochen Chess Club.

Spikeball is an action-packed team sport that is played 2 against 2 and promotes quick reactions, teamwork and agility. The game is played around a round net on the floor, onto which the ball is hit - similar to volleyball, but without a fixed playing field. The sport is easily accessible, immediately fun and perfect for summer on Campus or in the park.

Vinyasa Yoga is a flowing form of Hatha Yoga. We gently strengthen and stretch the body in association with the breath. We practise the yoga postures dynamically in the flow of the breath, allowing us to consciously and intensively feel into our own body. Mindful yoga practice promotes body awareness, strength and vitality. In addition to the yoga postures (asanas), we will also do short meditations and breathing exercises (pranayama). During our "work-in" we bring body, mind and soul into harmony. Each yoga class is accompanied by a topic that can provide an impulse for everyday life.
