Application and admission for Bachelor's with NC

You must apply for one of our restricted intake/admission degree programmes, i.e. a degree programme with a numerus clausus (NC), via the Hochschulstart.de portal. These are the degree programmes Physician Assistant, Business Psychology and Business Law. Don't forget to prioritize your application in the system: During the allocation of places, it may otherwise be that your favorite institution of higher education is dropped to a lower place on the list, even though you would have liked to study here.

Before you register on Hochschulstart.de, compile the supporting documents you need. You will need your university entrance qualification (certificates; degrees), a valid ID document and a passport photo in .jpg format. Later in the Application and enrolment process, you will usually need your certificate of participation in the aptitude test, proof of payment of the Semester Contribution and proof of health insurance.

Register on Hochschulstart.de. In the search mask, search for the degree program you would like to study and select Aalen University of Applied Sciences. Prioritize your selection here. Set the institution of higher education to priority 1. Shortly after the application deadline, we will send you an offer of admission as soon as possible, provided you are within the NC.

It is best to accept the offer of admission directly to secure your university place.

Complete the enrolment process at Aalen University of Applied Sciences in our own portal. You will still need some supporting documents (see step 2). In addition, we need an officially certified paper copy of your university entrance qualification. Send this to the Admissions office of Aalen University of Applied Sciences, Beethovenstraße 1, 73430 Aalen or bring it to us in person. You will then be enrolled at Aalen University of Applied Sciences. A warm welcome!

But keep an eye on your mailbox: Before the semester starts, Aalen University of Applied Sciences offers preliminary courses for New Student / First Year Students. Here you can deepen and refresh your knowledge of mathematics and physics and learn methods for successful learning or stress regulation. And the best thing is that you can get to know your fellow students in advance and make initial contacts. You will receive information on this together with your letter of admission.
