Aalen University of Applied Sciences endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with § 10 paragraph 1 of the State Disability Equality Act (L-BGG).

    According to Section 10 (1) sentence 1 L-BGG, websites of public bodies in Baden-Württemberg must be accessible. According to Section 2 sentence 2 L-BGG-DVO, the contents of websites also include documents. These must therefore also be accessible.
    The documents provided on this website (in particular PDF files) do not currently meet the requirements of ISO 14289 (PDF/UA). We are happy to provide support on request if there is a need for an accessible document.
  • Subtitles for videos, Section 10 (1) sentence 2 L-BGG in conjunction with Section 4 BITV 2.0
    Videos provided on the website must be subtitled to make the contents accessible to hearing-impaired or deaf users. The subtitles comply with the requirements of the Barrier-free Information Technology Regulation (BITV 2.0) and are provided promptly after publication of the video.
    The videos provided on this website are currently not subtitled.

This declaration was created for the first time on 01.03.2026.

The website was examined in a simplified manner by the Monitoring Body for Media Accessibility in accordance with Section 10 of the Regulation of the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of the Interior on the Implementation of the State Disability Equality Act (L-BGG-Durchführungsverordnung - L-BGG-DVO). This means that not the entire website, but only individual pages were checked against a selection of the requirements in Table A.1 of enclosed documents A of EN 301 549.

The declaration was last checked and updated on 06.03.2026.
