We reached our goal of scoring an even higher place than the last time (third place) in the CHE UAS ranking! The Mechanical Engineering study programmes achieved to score the following top-notch results:
- Our students are still very content with the study situation and the mentoring by their lecturers.
- In the field of research, we are again in the leading group: The research funds per professor increased since the last ranking.
- The Mechanical Engineering programme was able to improve its score of students graduating in reasonable time and is now at the top!
- In more than 19 criteria, the faculty is among the top flight: the students are very content with their first semester, practice and job market orientation of the study programmes and the support for semesters abroad.
The CHE ranking for universities of applied sciences
The results were published in the ZEIT Studienführer 2016/17 on the 03 May 2016. Every year, one third of the study programmes are tested again. In 2016, the study programmes mechanical engineering and material science were tested again.
The ranking of universities of applied sciences of the Center for UAS development (CHE) is the most comprehensive and detailed ranking in German-speaking countries. More than 300 universities and UASs have been examined by CHE. The ranking includes facts about study programmes, teaching and research as well as the assessments of students on the study conditions at their respective university.
