Virtual visit from all over the worldAn information event about the Ostwuerttemberg region for anyone interested from abroad

Ostwürttemberg, February 2022. On Saturday 5th March 2022 the Welcome Center Ostwürttemberg, Aalen University as well as the Regional Economic Development Corporation (WiRO) are inviting to a virtual information session. The digital event addresses particularly international professionals abroad.

The region of Ostwürttemberg has a lot to offer. Besides a variety of tourist, cultural and historical attractions, embedded in a beautiful landscape with forests and lakes, the region has a strong economy, a broad university landscape and intensive support for international professionals to offer. We have known all this here in the region for a long time. Now, these opportunities should also be taken abroad and communicated more widely there.

After Baden-Württemberg launched an advertising campaign titled "THE LÄND", with the motto: “find out yourself what Baden Württemberg has to offer” the Welcome Center Ostwürttemberg, the Regional Economic Development Corporation and Aalen University are joining this idea and organizing an information evening for interested people from abroad. The goal is to introduce Ostwürttemberg and the region’s potential to people from various countries who have the desire to come to Germany.

"International professionals are welcome in our region of Ostwürttemberg - the space for talents and patents. With the Welcome Center as an initial point of contact and a close network of regional partners, they will find fast and reliable support here for all questions about living and working in Ostwürttemberg," explains Nadine Kaiser, Managing Director of WiRO, and emphasizes that such events will therefore continue to be increasingly important in the future.
